Speaker: Alan Berger

Alan Berger has over 30 years of international product development experience in the off-highway vehicle industry, much of which he gained through roles of increasing importance with Volvo Construction Equipment culminating in the role of Senior Vice President, Technology followed by Chief Technology Officer at CNH Industrial. Alan drove Volvo’s electrification strategy that is becoming visible in the market now. At CNH, he was responsible for the Precision Farming business and developed CNH’s complete technology transformation approach.

Currently, Alan is Managing Partner at a new off-highway advisory practice called abcg™ and is Chairman of the Board at the Society of Automotive Engineers ITC and Independent Director at Multi-Wing A/S.

Speaker: Brett McMickell
Dr. McMickell is currently the Senior Technologist for Kubota North America where he leads the technology roadmap and overall technology portfolio. In this role, Dr. McMickell coordinates closely on all aspects of technology development and investment. He was previously the CEO of AgJunction until its acquisition by Kubota in 2021. Prior to joining AgJunction, Dr. McMickell held a variety of leadership positions at Honeywell Aerospace including serving as the Senior Director of Engineering in charge of Actuation Systems.

Dr. McMickell holds an M.B.A. in Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. He also received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah with a certificate in Mechatronics.
Brett is a recognized innovator. He was awarded the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Lawrence Sperry Award for his achievement in the advancement of small satellite technology. He currently holds 10 patents or patents pending.
